Course Objectives
Student will be able to:
Identify common instruments and instrument families
Connect music to historical events, stories, and daily life
Participate in activities such as singing, movement, listening, and simple instrument playing
Show respect and curiosity for music from many cultures
Develop an appreciation for music and its role in history and society
 
Required Materials
1/2 inch three ring binder and pencil
 
Supply / Materials / Uniform Fee
$30 to cover materials and handouts
 
Classroom Expectations
Bring notebook and pencil to every class
Participate with good attitude
Grading Policies
Teacher will listen and observe
Handouts will be grade with completion grade

80% participation
