Course Description: Get ready to squish, splash, fizz, and explode (safely!) in Messy Science—the class where learning is hands-on, exciting, and a little bit messy! This fun-filled science adventure is perfect for curious kids who love to explore, mix, and create while discovering how the world works.In this class, we’ll:
🧪 Make Things Bubble & Fizz – Create colorful eruptions and fizzy potions!
🌈 Play with Colors – Watch magic milk swirl, mix rainbows in water, and paint with mud!
💚 Get Slimy & Squishy – Make stretchy slime, oobleck, and other gooey creations!
💨 Blow Things Up (Safely!) – Inflate balloons without air, pop rockets, and see things fly!
🌎 Explore the World Around Us – Learn about weather, nature, and even make your own mini volcano!With exciting experiments, hands-on activities, and lots of laughs, Messy Science is the perfect place for little scientists to ask questions, make discoveries, and have a blast! 🎉👩‍🔬🚀
Course Objectives:
Explore Scientific Concepts – Understand basic science ideas through hands-on experiments with colors, reactions, textures, and motion.
Develop Observation Skills – Use their senses to make predictions, describe changes, and record what they see happening.
Encourage Curiosity & Creativity – Ask "why" and "what if" questions while exploring fun, messy experiments.
Engage in Hands-On Learning – Mix, pour, squish, and experiment to see science in action!
Practice Following Directions – Learn how to listen carefully, follow simple steps, and safely complete experiments.
Work Together & Share Ideas – Collaborate with classmates, take turns, and talk about their discoveries.
Have Fun While Learning! – Develop a love for science through exciting, interactive, and messy activities that make learning unforgettable! This class is all about exploring, experimenting, and getting messy while discovering how cool science can be!

Course Duration: Full Year
Supply Fee: $60 for messy supplies!
Classroom Expectations:
Be Safe – Listen carefully, follow directions, and use materials the right way so everyone stays safe.
Respect Others & Materials – Be kind to classmates, take turns, share, and clean up after experiments.
Be Curious & Try New Things – Science is about exploring! It’s okay to make mistakes—every experiment is a chance to learn.
Use Gentle Hands – Whether we’re mixing, pouring, or squishing, we handle materials with care (and no throwing slime at friends!).
Have Fun & Get Messy! – Science is exciting, so don’t be afraid to dive in, ask questions, and enjoy the messy magic of learning!

Grading Scale: 100%-90% A, 89%-80% B, 79%-70% C, 69%-60% D, 59%-0% F
