Course Description: This year-long Earth Science and Astronomy course introduces students to the study of God’s creation, from the processes shaping our planet to the vastness of space beyond Earth. Students will explore Earth systems, weather, geology, oceans, and astronomy while developing scientific observation, critical thinking, and note-taking skills. The course is taught from a biblical worldview and incorporates hands-on labs, projects, and guided discussions.
Earth Science Units may include:
Earth’s structure and layers
Rocks, minerals, and the rock cycle
Plate tectonics and landformsWeather, climate, and the atmosphere
Oceans and Earth’s water systems
Astronomy Units may include:
The sun and moon
The solar system
