Course Description: This course will cover the equivalent of one year of high school Arabic.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Express simple ideas orally using appropriate vocabulary and correct grammar.
• Produce orally in Arabic greetings and responses for common social situations fluently with appropriate vocabulary and correct grammar.
• Translate from memory 200 Arabic words
• Sing various Arabic worship songs.
• Recite John 3:16 in Arabic.
• Read aloud printed Arabic texts with fluency.
• Translate simple Arabic texts into English.
• Identify Arabic speaking nations by name on a regional map.
Grade Level: 7th-12th
Class Time: Thursday 9:00AM-9:55AM
Course Duration: Full Year
Required Materials(s): 3 ring binder, dividers, at home computer device connected to the internet.
Supply Fee: $50 for book and copy fees.

Grading Policies: Grades are determined by attendance (20%), participation (20%),homework (20%), quizzes and tests (40%).
