Course Description: Have you ever wondered what religious beliefs people hold? Join us for a journey around the world as we discover what people from different religions believe and why! Presented from a Christian perspective, an in depth dive into various belief systems and the people who keep them. At the end of the course, students should be ready for the DSST exam, which will give them 3 college credits.
Course Objectives: At the end of the class all students will be ready to take the World Religion DSST which will give them three college credits that will transfer to most colleges they might want to attend.

Required Materials(s): Free Clep Prep World Religions Quick Prep Sheet 8.99. It is a download. I can help the students find this on the first day of class.
Classroom Expectations: Students need to bring pencil and paper and be prepared to engage in our discussions of world religions. No phones during class as we all concentrate on helping each other learn about World Religions and prepare for the DSST exam.
Grading Policies: Participation in classroom discussions and keeping up on the readings will be 50% of the class grade. We will take a short quiz after each section to try and help us prepare for the DSST and we will have small projects occasionally to help us to help us engage in class time.
Grading Scale: 100%-90% A, 89%-80% B, 79%-70% C, 69%-60% D, 59%-0% F
