Course Description: This course will introduce basic algebraic concepts including variables, terms, expressions, polynomials, rational numbers, systems of equations, and graphing.

Class Time: Tuesday & Thursday 10:20AM-11:35AM
Prerequisite: Prep for Pre-Algebra
Grade Level: 7th-8th
Required Text: Keys To Algebra, by McGraw-Hill books 1-7 & Answer Keys www.christianbook.com (enter “key to algebra” in the search bar)
Class Fee: There is a $25 copy fee for the year (paid directly to instructor).
Classroom Policies:
Completion of all assigned homework problems, math journal entries, quizzes, and tests.
Class participation
Attendance is vital to student success. If the student needs to be absent, the parent must inform the instructor and the student is responsible for any missed quizzes, tests, and homework assignments..
