Course Description & Objectives: The objective of this course is to complete the study of geometric concepts and facts. The course content includes all Euclidean facts regarding points, lines, angles, triangles, circles, polygons, solids, classical construction, transformations and some work including space. It includes deductive reasoning, as well as an introduction to inductive reasoning. It also includes an introduction to trigonometry and analytic geometry.

Textbook: Geometry by BJU Press, 2nd edition. ***You must buy the second edition! You can find them used online ☺ Students should have their books at the first class.

Protractor
Compass
Notebook paper
Pencils
TI-30XS MULTIVIEW calculator. ***If you have another calculator and want to use it, let me know and contact me to confirm it. Graphing calculators are also acceptable if you already ownone, but are not required.
Classroom Policies:
The student is expected to complete all assigned homework problems, quizzes and tests and turn them in on time
The student is expected to participate in class discussions and activities.
The student is expected to bring all notes, textbook, pencil, and paper to every class.
The student is expected to display Christian character in class. Disrespectful behavior towards teacher or classmates will not be tolerated.
Incomplete/Late Assignments: Students are expected to bring completed assignments to class each week. Late assignments will not be accepted unless parents contact the instructor to make other arrangements. Please send a text/email the day before, not day of.
