Course Description: Beast Academy Level 3 is an advanced math curriculum designed for students who are ready for a challenging and deep-thinking approach to math, typically for advanced 2nd to 4th graders (or ages 8-11). It consists of guide books, with comic-style lessons to introduce concepts in a fun and engaging way, as well as practice books, including problems ranging from basic exercises to complex puzzles that build problem-solving skills.
Course Objectives: Students will gain skills in following key areas:
- Skip Counting & Multiplication – Mastering patterns and multiplication facts.
- Division – Understanding division as the inverse of multiplication
- Fractions – Learning basic fraction concepts and operations.
- Measurement & Estimation – Developing skills in length, weight, and time.
- Geometry – Identifying shapes, symmetry, and spatial reasoning
- Logic & Problem-Solving – Strengthening reasoning skills with puzzles and word problems.
Grade Level: 3rd-5th
Class Time: Tuesday 2:30PM-3:25PM & Thursday 10:00AM-10:55AM
Course Duration: Full Year

Curriculum Fee: $140 (includes all 4 student books, online lessons and practice portal at a bulk discount)
Curriculum Overview: Beast Academy Level 3 comprises a series of 4 Practice books divided into four units: 3A, 3B, 3C, and 3D AND an ONLINE curriculum portal with lessons and at home learning for reinforcement.
Required Material(s):
- Notebook or Scratch Paper – For working out problems, taking notes, and practicing extra problems.
- Pencils & Erasers – Math is about trial and error, so having a way to erase and adjust work is important.
- Ruler & Protractor – Useful for geometry-related problems.

Grading Policies & Scale: The bulk of the grade will be based on the student mastering each concept, with recognition of the student’s effort and attitude.

- Mastery of Concepts 70% • Mastery (4/4 or A) – Student solves problems correctly and explains reasoning. • Developing (3/4 or B) – Student mostly understands but makes small errors. • Needs Improvement (2/4 or C) – Student struggles with concepts and problem-solving. • Not Yet (1/4 or D/F) – Student needs significant help with the topic.
- Goal: Students work toward mastery rather than worrying about letter grades.
