As with the rest of our course offerings, these lessons are payable through the Step Up for Students UA and PEP scholarships.
 
These private lessons are taught by Douglas Butler. He is available to teach on campus at Class Source on Thursdays from 9:00am-3:00pm, and available also for private in-home lessons.
 
Douglas is a recent college graduate making his living as a freelance musician: playing, teaching, and writing music. He has extensive experience performing music in various styles on several instruments, although he specializes in jazz saxophone.
 
Throughout high school and college, Douglas wrote and arranged music for the ensembles in which he played. He began teaching private lessons in 2021, teaching piano, guitar, bass guitar, and saxophone. In addition to one-on-one coaching, Douglas teaches middle and high school rock bands every summer through Florida College’s Camp Rock.
